ICELAND

The fantastic crew at Secret Solstice invited me over to make an installation for their now infamous event in Rekyavik, Iceland across the summer solstice.

SHADOW SCULPTURE

The installation was 5.5m tall as comprised of over 180 pallets and 100 wooden beams. The idea was that the sun as it rotates around the sculpture over 23.5hrs each day casts long extended shadows on the ground.

GOLDEN RATIO

The sculpture was the physical representation of a Helix, the kind of you find in DNA with a set rotational pattern and degree.
